• What is Web Browser ?

Web browser is a program or software applications that is used to look for and share any kind of   information  on the World Wide Web (WWW). It has a search bar that lets you enter the address of website Uniform Resource Locator (URL).

• Common Web Browser

 Here are some of the commonly used Web Browser.

1.  Google chrome
Google chrome is a free Web Browser.
It is developed by Google.
Chrome is the most widely used Web Browser .

2.  Opera Web Browser 
 Opera Browser is a Web Browser for Windows, MAC OS, and Linux Operating Systems developed by Opera Software  AS. It uses the Blink layout engine.

3.  Internet Explorer (IE)
Internet Explorer (IE) is a free Web Browser. It is developed by Microsoft. The Windows 10 OS include Edge replacing Internet Explorer as the default Web Browser on all device classes.

4.  Mozilla Firefox 
 Firefox is a free Web Browser. It is developed by Mozilla Foundation and its subsidiary, the Mozilla Corporation. Firefox is available for Windows, Mac OS, Android and Linux operating system.

5.  Safari
Safari is a free Web Browser. Developed by Apple. Used in Mac operating system. First released in 2003 with Mac OS X Panther. Based on the WebKit engine. Default Browser on all Apple devices.
 

6.  UC Browser 
 UC Browser is a Web Browser developed by the chinese mobile internet company UCWeb and is owned by Alibaba Group of China.
