Troubleshooting Outlook

Common error in Outlook.

1. The first error is illustrated as Object not found error message.

• Error Cause - Your Outlook profile is corrupt
• Solution - Create a new Outlook profile. Add your email this profile.

• Error Cause - Automatic SMPT account settings are incorrect.
• Solution - manually configure your out going SMPT setting in Outlook by removing your email account and adding it again.

2. The image illustrates an error code "0x8004010F" this error occurs when you are sending or receiving emails.

• Error Cause - Emails are being saved to wrong location.
• Solution - This error can occur if you are using Multiple email accounts or Data files. to resolve (Open control panel > Mail > Data file) and change the folder location.

• Error Cause - Outlook dose not have enough permission.
• Solution - Operating system is upgraded, to solve it, you should take ownership (Data file > Properties > Security > Advance > change Owner) of  the data file.

3. The image show the authentication based error message generally it is triggered when you are trying to send an email from Outlook.

• Error Cause - Your Outgoing server setting are incorrect. 
• Solution - This can be rectified by editing your account setting and change the SMTP and POP3/IMAP setting, also ensure the option "Log on to incoming server before sending mail" , marked.
